"Living in Pain Successfully!" is a program that is designed to assist people, who are living in chronic pain, develop new strategies to help them experience a higher quality of life. This material was conceived and created by, someone living with chronic pain for the past twenty years. To ensure your confidence in the contents presented in the LiPS program, the materials have been developed in consultation with a team of experts: a medical doctor, F. Naveed, a doctor of chiropractic, M. Cadeau, a psychotherapist, P.B. Couvrette and a program systems analyst, P. Brittain. Each member of the team has reviewed the text and made suggestions for revisions and corrections. Their participation has been invaluable in producing the highest quality program material possible. The LiPS program is currently being offered as a pain management tool, by doctors in two clinics. Any professional, in the field of chronic pain, who would like to know more is welcome to contact us. Our current goal is to create a not for profit educational organization to help people with chronic pain access this type of peer guided, self assessing, pain management program. To this end, 100% of the profits from the things we sell, will go towards achieving this status. You can help us by sharing our web site with others who would benefit, their families, colleagues and friends. Let's get the word out. There are successful alternatives.
Chronic Pain Advocate
Program Architect and Facilitator
Twenty years ago, I was diagnosed with the first of many medical problems which, to this day, generate chronic pain. For years I suffered, alone, in agony. Not until fifteen years later, did I begin to learn the strategies necessary to help me deal effectively with my chronic pain and improve my quality of life.
Today, my goal is to share what I have learned, so you will also have multiple weapons, in your arsenal, to fight the war against your own chronic pain. I am currently developing a program that will provide a personal, step by step, guide, to help you achieve success in your pain management. It will be a multi-disciplinary approach containing self-assessment surveys to help you evaluate your own progress and plan in which direction you wish to take your own learning.
It’s time to open a new door to a happier, more productive life. Together we can do this!
